Difficulty with my auto insurance…?

“recently my dad got me a car”Back in December a friend of mine supported into my vehicle while drinking. He did not have insurance and still doesn’t. I told him i wouldnt do something so long as the dent was mounted by him. He is attempting to get away with not repairing it and has still yet to correct
